How do I create my student webpage?
Website hosting for students is available through SFOS Systems and Network Administration. Websites hosted on our servers must be related to the student's academic work or research and must follow the guidelines stated below. If you have questions about what is appropriate, please contact us at support@sfos.uaf.edu. To request an account on our server, please send an e-mail to web@sfos.uaf.edu and we will set you up with an account.
If you would like to host a personal website, the UAF student government organization (Associated Students of the University of Alaska Fairbanks) provides free web hosting to all UAF students.
SFOS Logos and Templates
The following guidelines must be followed on all webpages hosted by students on the SFOS webserver
- The SFOS and UAF logo must appear somewhere on the page
- UAF logo information
- SFOS logo download
- The date of last update must appear on the page
- The email of address of the person responsible as well as the SFOS Web Coordinator (web@sfos.uaf.edu) must appear on the page.
