About the Salmon Tools WebsiteAlaska's salmon industry is trying to change, mature and thrive again. Research, teaching and service provided by the University of Alaska and University of Washington's many faculty and staff can help the salmon industry and residents of coastal Alaskan communities that depend on salmon for their economic and subsistence livelihoods. However, finding the right information, training and resource person at the University of Alaska or University of Washington can be confusing. This website tries to untangle the mystery. Here you will find ongoing research, publications, lists of classes and workshops, who does what and how to contact us.
