Rolf
Gradinger (PI, rgradinger@ims.uaf.edu)
has been interested in polar ecology since his first Arctic expedition
in 1984. He has been teaching biological oceanography and sea ice ecology
at UAF since 2001.
Bodil Bluhm
(Co-PI, bluhm@ims.uaf.edu) has
specialized in the population dynamics of polar invertebrates.
Mette Nielson (fsmrn@uaf.edu) is a
graduate student at SFOS and interested in studies on the ecology of the
ice fauna.
Our research project is funded through the Coastal
Marine Institute, and the School
of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences. Logistical support in Barrow is provided
through the Barrow Arctic Science
Consortium. |
