Rolf Gradinger (rgradinger@ims.uaf.edu) has been interested in polar ecology since his first Arctic expedition in 1984. He has been teaching biological oceanography and sea ice ecology at UAF since 2001.
Hajo Eicken (hajo.eicken@gi.alaska.edu) is interested in the growth and decay processes of sea ice, its properties and their importance for physical-biological interactions.
Kunio Shirasawa (kunio@lowtem.hokudai.ac.jp) is the Director of the Sea-Ice Research Laboratory at Hokkaido University and has been involved in numerous studies of sea-ice and ocean processes throughout the Arctic and sub-Arctic. |
