Rasmuson Fisheries Research Center Award Recipients
The conferring of the Rasmuson Fisheries Fellowship awards represents one of the distinctions offered by the School of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences and the University of Alaska Fairbanks. The Fellowship is not just a source of funds for a graduate assistantship, but an award for scholastic achievement in selected areas of fisheries research. The Fellows are selected by the Advisory Board based on their academic record and their potential to contribute to the frontiers of knowledge related to Alaska's marine environs and living resources, especially the valuable commercial fisheries of the region.
