Research Overview

My research focuses on understanding behavior, life history, dispersal patterns and population structure of large, highly mobile species of fishes. Many of these fishes are intensively harvested and understanding their biology and ecology is paramount to effective management plans. However, studying these fish is often challenging because of their relative inaccessibility. To overcome these challenges, I have used cutting-edge, innovative technology.
