General Guidelines for Reports
Annual Report Guidelines
Annual reports are due in the beginning of October of each year of your project. The reports describe the progress and significant findings of each study funded by the PCCRC.
The preferred length of annual reports is not more than 15 single-spaced pages, using 1-inch margins and 12 point Times New Roman. Longer reports will be accepted, but should be concise.
Annual Reports require the following information:
- Project Title
- PI (and report author) name(s), address and email address
- Task Order number
- Abstract
Additional information can include:
- Introduction
- Background
- Objective/hypothesis
- Study area/field work
- Sample/experiment methods
- Figures, tables, maps (in PDF or GIF format)
- Future plans
- Summary
- Discussion
- Preliminary conclusions/conclusions
- Presentations
- Acknowledgements
- Study products and references
Final Report Guidelines
PCCRC final reports should be written in the same format as the progress reports and include the following or similar sections:
- Title Page - include project title, principal investigator(s), institution(s), and dates the project covered
- Abstract- one page maximum
- Introduction
- Background
- Objective/hypothesis
- Study area/field work
- Sample/experiment methods
- Summary of results
- Discussion
- Preliminary conclusions/conclusions
- Acknowledgements
- References
- Figures, tables, maps (in PDF or JPEG format)
- Products from the study
- The PI should also provide two high resolution photos in JPEG format for use in a project summary to be prepared from the report.
Final reports should be submitted electronically to pcc@sfos.uaf.edu with a copy to Heather McCarty (hdmccarty@gmail.com). All reports will be posted on the PCCRC web page.
