General Guidelines for Annual Reports
Annual reports are due in the beginning of October of each year of your project. The reports describe the progress and significant findings of each study funded by MMS.
The preferred length of annual reports is not more than 15 single-spaced pages, using 1-inch margins and 12 point Times New Roman. Longer reports will be accepted, but should be concise.
Annual Reports require the following information:
- Project Title
- PI (and report author) name(s), address and email address
- Task Order number
- Abstract
Additional information can include:
- Introduction
- Background
- Objective/hypothesis
- Study area/field work
- Sample/experiment methods
- Figures, tables, maps (in PDF or GIF format)
- Future plans
- Summary
- Discussion
- Preliminary conclusions/conclusions
- Presentations
- Acknowledgements
- Study products and references
