The Alaska Center for Ocean Sciences Education Excellence website provides lesson plans, scientific articles, and multimedia resources about ocean acidification.
The PMEL programs focus on open ocean observations in support of long-term monitoring and prediction of the ocean environment. Links include scientific fact sheets, news and multimedia resources.
CICOR Research Theme: The Ocean's Participation in Climate and Climate Variability.
This long-term ocean monitoring program is designed to measure the transfer (or flux) of heat, moisture,
energy, and chemicals between the ocean and the atmosphere.
Researchers assess the future impacts of elevated oceanic CO2 levels (lower pH) on marine ecosystems.
Work with OARC!
The Ocean Acidification Research Center is seeking a graduate student to conduct a fully funded project in the western Arctic Ocean to better understand the controls on carbonate mineral saturation states and ocean acidification in the region. (PDF flyer)
