- Hector Douglas, Ph.D. Marine Biology 2006, is teaching biology at UAF’s Kuskokwim Campus in Bethel, Alaska.
- Denby Lloyd, M.S. Biological Oceanography, was appointed Commissioner of the Alaska Department of Fish and Game by Governor Palin in January.
- Nicole Koehler, M.S. Marine Biology 2006, was recently hired by Michigan Sea Grant as their new education specialist.
- Simon Kinneen, B.S. Fisheries 1999, is the Fisheries Research and Development Director for the Norton Sound Economic Development Corporation.
- Angela Dubois, M.S. Marine Biology 2006, is a biologist at Grette Associates, a consulting firm in Tacoma, Washington.
- John Hilsinger, M.S. Fisheries 1976, is the new director of the Commercial Fisheries Division at the Alaska Department of Fish and Game.
