Board of Fisheries Names Salmon Industry Restructuring Panel

FITC's Chuck Crapo asked to serve
Kodiak, Alaska—Chuck Crapo, seafood quality specialist with the SFOS Marine Advisory Program at the Fishery Industrial Technology Center in Kodiak, has been appointed to the state's Board of Fisheries Salmon Industry Restructuring Panel.
The panel will assist the Board of Fisheries as it devlops an action plan to help the salmon industry restructure itself amid falling salmon prices and eroding markets for some species.
The panel will examine options, identify research, analysis, and information needs, and review models on a range of alternatives.
