Ken Turner Memorial Fellowship
This fellowship provides partial assistance a student pursuing a graduate degree in Marine Science at the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus. Two awards are given annually. Ken Turner was a captain of the R/V Acona, which was the first vessel operated by the UAF Institute of Marine Science to carry out research. This fund was established in his memory by the faculty and staff of IMS.
