Kodiak Faculty

Located at the heart of Alaska's fishing industry, the UAF/SFOS Kodiak Seafood and Marine Science Center is Alaska's premier seafood research facility.

The mission of the Kodiak Seafood and Marine Science Center is to increase the value of Alaska's fishing industry and marine resources through research, technological development, education and service.

Faculty in Kodiak are represented by the Fisheries Division and the Marine Advisory Program, both organizational units of the School of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences.

We offer undergraduate degrees in fisheries and graduate programs in fisheries, marine biology and oceanography.

The Marine Advisory Program (MAP) is a statewide outreach and technical assistance program helping Alaskans wisely use, conserve, and enjoy Alaska's marine and coastal resources. [MAP website]
