Alaska Sea Grant Advisory Committee Meeting (November 20-21, 2008)

On November 21, I attended the Alaska Sea Grant Advisory Committee meeting in Anchorage. While at the meeting, U.S. Senator-elect and Anchorage Mayor Mark Begich joined Chancellor Rogers and the rest of the group as we discussed future directions for Alaska Sea Grant.
The 28-person advisory committee-- comprised of marine and coastal community leaders, policy makers, and stakeholder-- guides the program's statewide mission of marine, coastal and fisheries research, education, and Marine Advisory Program extension services.
